TEaGIRL Researchers

The TEaGIRL project is a collaboration between two researchers (Anne Pauwels & Jo Winter) with cooperation from both national and international colleagues.

Anne Pauwels is Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and Professor of Linguistics at the University of Western Australia, Australia. She continues to research in the areas of feminist linguistics, language contact and cross-cultural communication. Her publications include academic texts and articles as well as practical guides to gender-inclusive  language reform.

Jo Winter is  Senior Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia, Australia. Her research interests and publications lie at the intersection of gender studies, discourse analysis and the sociolinguistics of Englishes.
